Alphabet Photography Review

What is Alphabet Photography?

Founded by Jennifer Blakeley in 2007, Alphabet Photography is the unique form of alphabet art. The artwork is everyday real life objects that resemble the letters of the alphabet. All of the objects photographed are un-staged and found in their natural surroundings. These photographs of unique letters are then arranged into any name or word.

Where do I even start? The entire ordering process was so easy and the final product amazing! You simply visit the Alphabet Photography web site, and a big rectangle frame pops up for you to type in your name or word. You can play with different words and see how they will look. Once you select your word you can shuffle the letters to see a different variety of pictures. If you still haven't found the perfect letter selection, you can click on each letter and choose your favorite letter photo.

Once you are satisfied with your wording, you then choose a frame. All the framing options are shown right below with pricing. You can click through the framing options and each option you select will update the frame around your word. You always see exactly what you will be ordering.

It took me awhile to decide what word I wanted. As these are unique pieces, I wanted mine to be something special and thought out. Something that had meaning. I finally decided on the word BOYS, with some added hearts. If your familiar with my blog you will know that I have two little boys and they are my life, so this was perfect. My idea is to now hang pictures around my Alphabet Photography piece of the boys.

I hand selected each letter to be rustic and whimsical like boys are. I especially love the tire as the "O". To me the entire artwork screams boys! I love it!

When my package arrived I was quite surprised! It was HUGE! I honestly didn't calculate the sizing when I created my artwork. It was packed incredibly well with strapping and bubble wrap. And the frame itself was beautifully wrapped and included a special thank you card. Amazing.

My frame is a 3" solid wood frame with a dark Chocolate finish accented with gold leaf. WOW! It is then matted with a museum quality double mat with a V groove and hand signed and dated by the artist. Included also of course is sturdy, high quality hanging wire and rubber buttons to keep it from shifting on the wall. No detail missed.

The entire piece of artwork is just flat out amazing. A true conversation piece for sure. I just love how you can customize this for anything you wish or for anyone. Who wouldn't love to receive the gift of Alphabet Photography this holiday or for any gift giving occasion!
