Affordable Overnight Diaper Solution with Parent's Choice

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Parent’s Choice Overnight Baby Diapers.

Little Brother has always been a heavy wetter. So although we use cloth diapers during the day, I could never find a solid leak proof night time solution. Regular diapers are sometimes still not enough for night. And as Little Brother gets older the problem only gets worse.

Changing sheets every morning and thinking my baby will be sleeping wet in the night is not something I want to mess with. Thankfully there is Parent's Choice Overnight Baby Diapers.
Parent's Choice overnight Baby Diapers are super absorbent and meant especially for overnight and long trips. Treated with vitamin E and aloe to keep their skin protected as well as an enhanced dryness layer, in hopes they will rest a bit longer.
The overnight diapers come in a variety of sizes. From size 3 (16-28 lbs) to size 6 (35+ lbs). Many children will need the larger sizes as they continue to need diapers for night time only after they have been potty trained. It is not unusual for kids aged 5 and even 6 to still need some sort of overnight protection, especially boys.
I have been very impressed with the quality of Parent' Choice Overnight Baby Diapers. They have not once leaked on me and the velcro tabs stick super tight. No chance they may come undone by tossing and turning little ones at night. These diapers are also very thin and lightweight for baby. No extra bulk for nighttime.

I am beyond pleased with the Overnight Baby Diapers. We are all on a budget these days and when you find something that is affordable and that works, well that makes for one happy Mama! So what is the price on these bad boys? Just $13.97 a box at Walmart online. The quantities vary depending on the size you purchase.

A dry rested baby is a happy baby. A happy baby makes a happy Mama! Win. Win.
Night time protection for babies is an important consideration for parents as their little one grows. Ordinary diapers may not have enough absorbent capacity to handle multiple voids over long periods of time with older babies. When wet mornings become the norm, parents start looking for more protection to guard against overnight leaks.

Parent’s Choice Overnight Baby Diapers are super absorbent for overnight and long-trip protection. This is an overnight diaper at prices that everyone can afford!

Cushe Molokai Shoes Review & Giveaway

*I was not paid for this post but provided with a pair of Cushe Shoes for the purpose of review and my honest opinion. The following is my thoughts and review....
We all love shoes that are comfortable right? You can just tell the difference when you slide your feet in to a comfortable pair verses a not so comfortable pair. My feet are tricky and finding shoes that are just right and don't hurt my feet can be a challenge. A few months ago I had the opportunity to work with Cushe, and living up to their name their shoes are very very comfortable.

I had the opportunity to review the Cushe Quilty Conscience Boots this Winter and I loved them! Fast forward to their new Spring/Summer styles and oh my gosh I couldn't wait to try out another pair!

So here in all their glory are the Cushe Molokai in my most very favorite color red! These are new this year and what I love about Cushe and all of their shoes are that they are unique. Down to every last detail you can be sure you won't find a similar pair on the market.

The Molokai are part of the Love Me & Leaf Me line and and are a fabulous day or evening shoe. They are made from a premium waxed suede and breathable canvas lining. The unique leaf design on the sole and in the foot bed just add to the character and "coolness" factor.

My feet were in heaven when I slipped these on! Soft comfortable support but no super high arch or anything that hurt my feet. A great amount of cushioning and fit very true to size. The ankle straps are a silver sparkle and add a little pizazz to these shoes. You can dress them up or down depending on your outfit. I'm getting many compliments each time I wear them.

Now I know red might be a little bold for some, I personally love them, but they also come in black ink, sand and brown. More traditional colors that you could pair with just about any outfit.

The Molokai retail at $85 and can be purchased directly from the Cushe website.

Cushe wasn't a name brand I recognized when I first started working with them. However I now see them at many of our local stores. Once you try any Cushe brand shoe and feel how comfortable and stylish they are, you will be seeking out your next pair!

Here are a few of my favorites for this Spring/Summer. Cushe carries both men and women's styles.
About Cushe
Cushe was born in the summer of 2004. Based in UK, the Cushe team aspires to only deliver the types of shoes they love to wear themselves. Unique and exciting choices that are a little bit different than the majority of shoes that dominate the footwear market. They don't follow trends, but challenge the boundaries of footwear design.

You might want to head on over to their Facebook page for more details and lots of laughs. These friends at Cushe have a great sense of humor as well as awesome shoes!

WIN IT: Now I know my red Molokai shoes are pretty awesome! And because Cushe is also awesome they are letting me give a pair of shoes to one of you lucky readers! Any shoe of your choice! Whoever the winner is, is going to have a hard time choosing that's for sure! The giveaway will start tomorrow in the Something Special for Mom Giveaway Hop! I figured a pair of new shoes is always special for us moms :) The giveaway will run from May 10th-26th! So make sure to come enter! Good Luck! ENTER HERE!

Kissaluvs Pocket Training Pants Review & giveaway

*I was not paid for this post but provided with a pair of Kissa's Pocket Training Pants for the purpose of review and my honest opinion. The following is my thoughts and review....
So we are on the potty training band wagon. Having done it once before I'm not overly excited to stress and make Little Brother start before he is ready. He is curious and interested a bit because of Big Brother, so it will be interesting if he really picks it up quickly as they say most siblings will do.

As we already use cloth diapers the next step for me was to check into cloth training pants. I absolutely adored the styles offered by Kissaluvs. We were excited for the opportunity to review the Kissa's Pocket Training Pants in brown. Inside is a super cute cotton flannel dinosaur print. They come in either 2T (20-32lbs) or 3T (28-40lbs). We reviewed the 3T and I have to say the weight range is pretty spot on.

We were also able to review the Kissaluvs Booster Doublers to stuff the pocket with and customize our level of absorbency and training level.

There is a lot to love about the Kissa's Training Pants. Here are a few of my favorites.

• Made in the USA
• Pull up or snap on/off
• Waterproof, durable PUL outer
• Doubles as a pocket diaper when stuffed

I really love the fact that you can purchase these ahead of your potty training schedule and use them as a pocket diaper. They already have two layers of microfiber sewn in, yet with the pocket opening you can add as much additional absorbency as needed to make it a diaper too. I used it both with the boosters and without and didn't have any leaks at all. I love that you can add as much or little as you need depending where you are in the training process. The fit was great and with the 4 snap settings you can adjust the legs and waist to fit as needed.

You can see here that Little Brother loves his new training pants and the cute designs inside them make them fun for toddlers to want to wear them.

So will these make potty training super simple and super quick? I sure hope they do! But time will tell as we are in the beginning stages. I do know that they serve their purpose to get the ball rolling for potty training and provide an easy and clean way for mom (me) to clean up any accidents. And for that I am thankful.

The Kissa's Pocket Training Pants are also very affordable. Suggested Retail is $14.95 and I promise you will get your money's worth either as a diaper or training pants.

PlasmaCar Review & Upcoming Giveaway

*I was not paid for this post but provided with a PlasmaCar for the purpose of review and my honest opinion. The following is my thoughts and review....
I've had the opportunity to review a lot of really neat and fun products for my blog, but PlasmaCar has been one of my very favorites. This little car is so fun! And best of all, no batteries required! Just some good ol' kid powered motion from your kids.
So what exactly is PlasmaCar? It is a very cool ride on toy with a little helicopter steering wheel. You simply put up your feet and wiggle the steering wheel back and forth. The forces of inertia, centrifugal force, friction and kid (or adult) power get the car moving quickly. Depending on how fast the steering wheel moves you can get up to 6 mph! Crazy right? Want to go backwards, simply turn the steering wheel 180 degrees and start turning the wheel. So cool!

I absolutely love that there is no batteries, gears or pedals. Just a fun and safe car and great for indoor or outdoor activity to get your kids moving. The best part? It supports up to 220 pounds! So I'm able to ride around the driveway and have a little fun too! It is not recommended for hardwood floors but other than that it can be used indoors or outdoors. We used ours inside on our laminate flooring until we then used it outside on the sidewalk. I wouldn't recommend bringing it back in as the wheels get scratched up.

The PlasmaCar is for ages 3 and up, Little Brother is two and although he can't really turn the wheel and get himself going, he can scoot around really fast with his feet too. Big Brother is 4 and can really get this car moving with just the steering wheel and no feet. It is really sturdy and well designed and they haven't took a spill yet. PlasmaCar is just a really fun toy that will get years and years of use for all ages.

The PlasmaCar comes with the parts you see here in the photo and does need some quick assembly to get it up and moving. Instructions are very simple and everything needed for assembly is included. In less than 10 minutes we were buzzing around the house with two very excited little boys.

We had the opportunity to review a red PlasmaCar (my favorite color) but there are five other color choices as well. Blue/red combo, Purple/Orange combo, Pink, Yellow and Green. Fun bright vibrant colors that any child would adore! Not to mention the bright color choices are great for being highly visible while outside riding.

You can take my word for what a fun awesome toy this is for your kids and worth every penny. (Currently $49.99 on Amazon) Or if that's not enough, check out this list of awards it has won. Obviously others think it is great too!

• 2012, Parents’ Choice Awards, Recommended, PlasmaCar

Kid Painted Mother's Day Canvas

10 days to go until Mother's Day!
Time to get your last minute projects in order to surprise the mom in your life!

We have three mom's in our life. My mom and my husbands mom and step mom. We always like to do something special but not over the top expensive or crazy. We usually tend to opt for handmade gifts from the heart.
This year my husband surprised me with photos he had done of him and the boys. They turned out so cute and I knew they would be perfect to use for our Mother's Day gifts as well. I had in my head the boys painting on a canvas and then using that as the backdrop for the photos.

I found a pack of three canvases at our local Ross store for $5.99! They were perfect! We already had a collection of paints and I used some black sticker frames and put them over the photo and glued them on. Super fun, super simple and they turned out so cute!

The boys had the best time painting and it kept them occupied for quite some time. They are very excited to show all the Grandma's their special gifts on Mother's Day!

So if your still not sure what to surprise your mom with this Mother's Day, you still have plenty of time to create a one of a kind canvas and melt their hearts. Photos are always a good choice for mom's!

{P.S. Mom's I hope you are not peeking at your upcoming gifts!}

Fluffy Mail Giveaway Hop Sponsor Spotlight: Super Undies

*I was not paid for this post but provided with a pair of Super Undies for the purpose of review and my honest opinion. The following is my thoughts and review....
Little Brother just turned two in February, and just two nights ago upgraded from his crib to a big boy bed. He is growing so fast and is entering the little boy stage, no more baby. With that the final "babyness" that is still left is....diapers!

It is time to move forward and little by little start working towards potting training. We use cloth diapers already so the next step was an easy decision, cloth potty training pants! And boy was I lucky to have an opportunity to work with Super Undies!

Well who wouldn't want to start potty training with a fun name like Super Undies? They also come in bright fun colors that are sure to get your child's attention. The Aquanaut (blue), The Cupcake Queen (pink), The Fearsome From (green),  The Purple Pixie (purple), and Spaceman Pete (orange).
We had the opportunity to review the Spaceman Pete and I just adore the bright orange and Little Brother loves them too. Here you can see him clearly showing off his new big boy undies.
What's great about Super Undies is that they are completely waterproof through the wet zone where you need it most. They have extremely stretchy side panels for easy on and off yet have snaps too for the accidents you don't want all over their legs. Yuck! Super Undies are unique also in that the snaps are in the back. This makes them a little difficult to put on if you are snapping and not pulling on, but it lets your little one feel more like they are wearing undies and not a diaper.
Super Undies have a pocket similar to pocket cloth diapers, with a layer of micro fiber built in but also letting you add extra boosters depending on your training level. They have a mesh pocket so your child will feel the wetness if they have an accident. We are just starting out so I used them with an extra booster and didn't have any leaks.

Super Undies come in different sizes so you want to make sure to look at the sizing chart and measure your child if needed. We reviewed the large which is maybe a tad bit big but I didn't want them to be too tight. Little Brother is only 2 and the large says the typical age is 5+ years. I think we could have gone with a medium and had a closer fit, however the large hasn't leaked and are not too tight on his waist.
Super Undies is your one stop shop for all things potty training. From these snap on training pants, to pull up training pants and night time training pants too. Also booster inserts, mattress toppers and more.

Depending on your sizing selection, the Snap on Potty Training Pants cost $19.95 to $23.95.

Super Undies is here to help with all your potty training needs. Visit their main home page for videos, potty training assistance and even a fun kid's game room. You can also find them on Facebook with lots of great tips and advice and questions and concerns from other parents in the midst of potty training as well.

WIN IT: Are you currently potty training? Or will be starting soon? Then stay tuned because you will have a chance to win a pair of Side Snap Super Undies in the color and sizing of your choice in the upcoming Fluffy Mail Giveaway Hop that will run from May 1-15!  ENTER HERE!
