If you have been following me for awhile now you will know I've loved every single product I've had the opportunity to review from Ozeri. Some of my favorites that get used on a daily basis are the Brezza II fan and my Green Earth Pans. I was happy to put to the test the Elite Chef Knives this time around.
The Ozeri Elite Chef Black Ceramic Knife Set includes three different sized knifes. A 3" paring knife, a 5" slicing knife and a 6" chef's knife. All super sharp and 100% ceramic. Ceramic lasts 10 times longer than traditional steel blades before needing sharpened. They have easily cut through any vegetable or meat that I've tackled. My review photos show me using the smallest size knife for slicing olives with perfect ease.
My favorite thing about this knife set is the super soft, comfortable ergonomic handles. They easily fit in my hand and made food prep easy. They also weigh less than half than the equivalent metal knife and therefor will reduce fatigue and pain you may get when preparing large meals. And because they are ceramic they will not corrode, rust or leach metal ions from long-term exposure to moisture, oils and acids in common foods.
I also love that the knives come in a handy and nicely packaged box set that would be great for gift giving. I love to give practical useful gifts and these would make the list. You can buy them on Amazon.com at the time of this posting for $29.95.
