Tykes Bykes 16 Inch Balance Bike Review

*I was not paid for this post but provided with a Tykes Bykes for the purpose of review and my honest opinion. The following is my thoughts and review....

With two boys, getting out of the house and burning off energy is a must. A favorite for both boys is riding their bikes. I think they would ride all day if it was possible.

Big Brother is almost 5 and is very tall and skinny. He hasn't mastered a pedal bike yet but is really too big for most balance bikes which he loves. But not anymore.....

Let me introduce you to the new 16 inch balance bike from Tykes Bykes! This new bigger balance bike is designed for kids aged 5 and up so it couldn't be more perfect for Big Brother.

Luckily the bike arrives 85% assembled as Big Brother couldn't wait to get outside and try it out. All the parts and tools needed to assemble the bike are included and it went together in less than 10 minutes with clear and easy instructions.

I was super impressed with the quality right out of the box. Built with an alloy frame, big inflatable premium tires, hand brake, adjustable handle bar and seat. At just 10 pounds this bike is light weight and easy to pack around and take anywhere. It is not uncommon for me to pack the bike on our outings for some reason or another and this makes it easy and comfortable.

I love the bright orange color of the bike for visibility, Big Brother loves the bright orange color because it's cool. He can speed so fast on this bike and it can go anywhere and over anything. It is designed for ages 5 and up with a minimum seat height of 16 inches and a maximum of 20 inches. Big Brother has it at the lowest setting right now and it is perfect so he still has lots of room to grow.

One easy reach brake lever is easily adjustable for little hands. The brake cable routes internally for durability and safety and the back of the seat has an easy grab handle as we all know that children often need the helping hands of mom and dad. Made from alloy the bike has a 110 pound max capacity and has wonderful big premium inflatable tires that work wonders on the road or off roading when we go camping. I can easily say this is one of the best designed balance bikes on the market. This bike is going to last for years and years to come.

Big Brother can not get enough of his new Tykes Byke. He feels confident and comfortable and has so much fun off roading on trails when we go camping. Light enough to bump over small logs and obstacles on the trial he is having a blast.
