NatureSnug All-In-2 Cloth Diaper Review & Giveaway

New cloth diaper alert! I love All-In-2 cloth diapers and was so excited to have the opportunity to try the new NatureSnug All-In-2 diaper from Smart Snugs!

For those of you who don't know, the All-In-2 diaper is a hybrid cloth diaper that gives you options for what works best for your family and child. The NatureSnug all-in-two is designed as a cover and separate inserts. Both the cover and the inserts are PUL backed so you can simply change the insert and reuse the cover. This not only gives you options for which insert you would like to use but also saves you money by not having to have as many full diapers.

With this specific diaper cover you can use any of Smart Snugs FIVE insert options.
• 5 layer insert
• 6 layer bamboo charcoal w/gussets
• 6 layer bamboo cotton w/gussets
• 6 layer bamboo charcoal
• 6 layer booster

We had the opportunity to review the cover in turquoise with the 6 layer bamboo charcoal insert with gussets. The cover is made from a super soft bamboo cotton with the PUL waterproof lining as well as bamboo charcoal microfleece in the front and back of the diaper that keeps the insert in place as well as wicks moisture away from babies skin.

The NatureSnug All-In-2 is one size diaper and is made to fit babies from 8-35 pounds. It has an adjustable rise system as well as hip snaps to get the perfect fit and prevent leaks. Little Brother is a great cloth diaper tester as he weighs about 30 pounds now at 2.5 years old. Although we are on the road to potty training we still have plenty of diaper use to go. This diaper fits Little Brother so good and appears that it will make it to the 35 pound mark as advertised.

Multiple design features of this All-In-2 make the fit of this diaper so perfect and comfortable. For one it has double gussets around the legs. They make a secure fit but without any pinching and tightness. Two it has a wonderful elastic backing to again make the fit secure with no gaps or bunching. Add the 6 layer bamboo charcoal insert with gussets to this cover and you have a super soaking, leak proof, comfortable diaper for your little one.

The 6 layer bamboo charcoal insert can be used with the All-In-2 or the Smart Snugs pocket diapers and is an extra large size that soaks up tons of liquid. The top layer is a super soft bamboo charcoal micro fleece that allows liquid to pass through while keeping moisture away from babies skin. Bamboo charcoal is also naturally odor resistant and antimicrobial. Layer 2 is bamboo cotton, 3, 4 and 5 layers are microfiber and layer 6 is a waterproof PUL. This keeps the liquid inside the insert and also makes it easy to pull out with no wet on your hands!

My favorite feature of this diaper is no stuffing! You simply press the insert in the cover, slip it under the fleece flaps, snap it on baby and go! And when it's time to change you simply pull out the wet insert, place it in your pail and put in a new fresh insert. For soiled diapers I would recommend a new cover and insert. Less covers means less bulk, especially when out and about or traveling as well as less  money in start up costs.

I absolutely love this diaper. It is now one of our favorites in my stash. As Little Brother is older he can really wet a diaper and this one has held up with zero leaks. It is so soft and comfortable on him I just can't say enough good things about it. I also love the bamboo outer fabric on the cover, it is so soft and unique to any other diapers we have.

Kissaluvs Pocket Training Pants Review & giveaway

So we are on the potty training band wagon. Having done it once before I'm not overly excited to stress and make Little Brother start before he is ready. He is curious and interested a bit because of Big Brother, so it will be interesting if he really picks it up quickly as they say most siblings will do.

As we already use cloth diapers the next step for me was to check into cloth training pants. I absolutely adored the styles offered by Kissaluvs. We were excited for the opportunity to review the Kissa's Pocket Training Pants in brown. Inside is a super cute cotton flannel dinosaur print. They come in either 2T (20-32lbs) or 3T (28-40lbs). We reviewed the 3T and I have to say the weight range is pretty spot on.

We were also able to review the Kissaluvs Booster Doublers to stuff the pocket with and customize our level of absorbency and training level.

There is a lot to love about the Kissa's Training Pants. Here are a few of my favorites.

• Made in the USA
• Pull up or snap on/off
• Waterproof, durable PUL outer
• Doubles as a pocket diaper when stuffed

I really love the fact that you can purchase these ahead of your potty training schedule and use them as a pocket diaper. They already have two layers of microfiber sewn in, yet with the pocket opening you can add as much additional absorbency as needed to make it a diaper too. I used it both with the boosters and without and didn't have any leaks at all. I love that you can add as much or little as you need depending where you are in the training process. The fit was great and with the 4 snap settings you can adjust the legs and waist to fit as needed.

You can see here that Little Brother loves his new training pants and the cute designs inside them make them fun for toddlers to want to wear them.

So will these make potty training super simple and super quick? I sure hope they do! But time will tell as we are in the beginning stages. I do know that they serve their purpose to get the ball rolling for potty training and provide an easy and clean way for mom (me) to clean up any accidents. And for that I am thankful.

Smart Snugs Review
I had the opportunity to review the NatureSnug in black. But they come in all sorts of other fun colors as well. The very first thing I noticed about this diaper was that the inside fleece lining was charcoal gray. This is because the NatureSnug comes with a bamboo charcoal microfleece liner. I love it! The charcoal gray hides stains and looks clean all the time. Plus it just looks different and classy. (If you can call a cloth diaper classy.) But not only does it look good, the bamboo is grown free of pesticides and chemicals. This is the perfect diaper for sensitive skin babies!

Each diaper comes with two liners. A soft microfleece liner and a ultra absorbent 5 layer insert. The 5 layer insert contains two outer layers of soft bamboo cotton and 3 layers of microfiber inside. Bamboo absorbs more liquid and is naturally antimicrobial to help control bacteria and odors. I personally love using just the 5 layer bamboo insert for daytime. It is easy to stuff and has not leaked on me yet!

The NatureSnug is a one size stay dry pocket diaper. It can adjust to fit babies ranging from 8-35 pounds. Little Brother is about 27 pounds and is average height and weight for his age at 22 months. This diaper fit great. He still has some snaps to go for growth on the sides, however I'm hoping potty training will be coming soon. So technically he would still have 8 more pounds of growth to go and still fit this diaper.

The NatureSnug neither has a high or low rise, just about average and comfortable. Plenty high to prevent leaks but not too high that causes discomfort. This diaper is also one of very few to offer hip wing snaps to adjust the fit around the legs to prevent leaks.

I have had zero problems washing this diaper. Both the diaper and inserts come out clean and fresh. I line dry the cover and it of course dries quickly, however the inserts dry very quickly in the dryer as well. No long waits for clean diapers with Smart Snugs.

That is just to name a few items that popped out at me. That doesn't include the many different cloth diaper brands and other items as well. If your looking for a good site to get started or do some research for the best on the block, look no further than For the Monster!

I had the chance to also review the Kissaluvs Marvels One Size Fitted diaper in the Two-Hoots design from For the Monster. This was my first time using a fitted and this diaper is simple yet effective.

The Marvels diaper is one size and will fit most babies from 10-40 pounds. Little Brother is about 25 pounds and this diaper fits fine, although he is right between sizes on the snaps. One snap was too tight and one too loose. I usually love hook and loop for this reason. The Marvels is also a bigger bulkier diaper. But this might be the case with all fitteds, I'm not sure as this is my first time using one.

The outside of the diaper is 100% cotton and comes in three designer prints. I chose the Two-Hoots owl design and it is so cute and really gender neutral. The inside is a super super soft bamboo velour. The SOFTEST inside of a diaper I have ever felt. It feels luxurious! There are no inserts or anything to mess with in a fitted as they are built inside the fabric. This particular diaper has three body layers and a micro fiber soaker. This is suppose to hold in leaks from even the heaviest of wetters.

Now with a fitted diaper you can use it alone, especially around the house or quick trips. But for full leak proof protection you will need a cover as well. I use this diaper mostly for night time because Little Brother is a heavy wetter, so I always use a cover. I use one of my Grovia covers and it just barely fits. Some fabric still peaks out of the cover. Although it hasn't leaked on me yet and absorbs a ton.

This diaper only has one row of snaps so there isn't any snapping up and down size configurations. Instead you simply fold the fabric to your desired rise and then snap it on. This diaper definitely has plenty of rise for even the largest of babies.

One of the things I don't like about this diaper is the dry time. If you only line dry then this diaper may not be for you. I usually tumble dry my inserts and diapers that can be dried half way, then line dry the remainder. Even partially drying in the dryer this can take over a day to dry. But I guess that my be the price to pay for such an absorbent diaper, which I really need for night time.

The other thing about this diaper is the price. Normal retail price is $24.95. Which wouldn't be too bad, except you really need a cover to make this a go everywhere diaper. So there will be some additional cost as well. If you can find it on sale then this diaper would be awesome! (As of writing this post you can get these for $17.47 on For the Monster!)
