I've recently been introduced to Copy Kids and their wonderful DVD for kids. I had no idea that my opportunity to work with them would lead to new friendships and amazing respect for the kindness and generosity so easily offered to strangers.

Copy Kids Review
I was making dinner when my husband went down to get the mail with the boys. When they got back our Copy Kids DVD had arrived! I immediately put the DVD in while I finished up dinner.
There are 12 different chapters. One for each fruit and vegetable. Big Brother loved choosing which chapter to watch next. The boys were instantly giggling and fully attentive to the kids eating their healthy snacks.
The 12 chapters include:
• bell pepper
• banana
• oranges
• carrots
• strawberries
• avocado
• raspberries
• tomatoes
• apples
• broccoli
• cucumber
• blueberries
Now I do believe watching the DVD with a plate of the fruits and vegetables listed would be most beneficial. Thus being able to copy the kids and try each one at the same time. I didn't have all the listed fruits and veggies handy that night but did come across a great learning opportunity at a Halloween Party.
I'm pretty lucky my boys are open to most fruits and veggies, however bell peppers are one that don't go over well. At the Halloween Party was a plate of orange bell peppers. I put a few slices on Big Brother's plate and told him to try them and see how sweet and crunchy they were, just like the kids on the DVD. He was a little hesitant at first but then gave it a try, and was pleasantly surprised! It was great to have something for him to relate to.
I honestly can see this working on nearly all kids. It is recommended for ages 6 months to 5 years. Kids like to learn and copy other kids. The idea is so simple and so effective. No fake cartoons or characters, just real kids eating real everyday food. Brilliant!
