I randomly stumbled upon the
Neater Feeder online and knew straight away I had to find out more about it! You see my dog is BIG. Like 110 pounds big. And not only is my dog big, but my house is small. And as part of the family our dog does not live outside, but inside with us. Over the years his food and water has moved around and now resides in our master bathroom. And one big dog equals one big sloppy mess near the food bowl.

As you can imagine, Neater Feeder was inspired by one big sloppy dog named Duke. Finding the silver lining in his slopping eating habits, Neater Feeder was born. Neater Pet Brands resides in Pennsylvania and their mission is "to bring innovative products to the market that enhance the joys of pet ownership by making care of the pet easier and by positively impacting the pets daily life."
Neater Feeder Review
Who knew you could love a dog feeder so much! This girl does! It is seriously awesome! Not only does it look good, but it does the job it is meant to do!
The Neater Feeder comes in four different sizes plus they have a leg extensions kit for large dogs. I reviewed the large feeder with the leg extensions as my doggy needs the very biggest it can go. The feeder also comes in two colors. Bronze or cranberry. Both very classy looking color combinations that will match your decor. I reviewed the bronze as it matches our bathroom best.
Basically the Neater Feeder is a feeding set that has two separate reservoirs. An upper and a lower. The upper holds the food and water dish while having a strainer area where the water mess can filter below and sit in the easy to clean lower reservoir. You can simply lift off the upper reservoir and hose or rinse out the lower reservoir and your good as new.
On the upper reservoir the side walls come up and around the dishes to contain splashes and spills. And I've found it also contains the dog hair as well. These photos should be enough to convince you that the feeder works as promised....yuck! This is what used to be on my floor instead!
The height of the large feeder with the leg extensions is perfect for my big dog. It is also very easy to add the leg extensions. Simply remove the rubber feet. Pop on the leg extensions which are labeled front and back and then put back on the rubber feet. So easy.
Neater Pet Brands has thought of everything with their design too. You get one 7 cup stainless steel food bowl and one 9 cup extra capacity stainless steel water bowl. So smart to make the water bowl a bigger size! You have no idea how often we are refilling the water bowl!
Such a smart solution to a common everyday problem. These feeders are made to last and any product that makes my life easier has got to be great!
