Zenoobi & Eco Vessel Sippy Review {plus} upcoming giveaway!

I recently came across a new online store called Zenoobi. Their web site was so cute I had to check them out! And to my delight they carry natural and eco-friendly baby and kids products, a few items for Mom and some safe household alternatives as well!

I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to work with them and review one of their products, the Eco-Vessel Insulated Sippy!

So what makes Zenoobi different and what products do they carry? Keep reading to find out!

About Zenoobi
At Zenoobi (meaning Zen you be) their mission is to leave the world a better place for future generations. They want to help teach our children to start down the path of sustainable living.

They felt there was a void in the marketplace where you could find all natural, organic and eco-friendly products all in one place. Not anymore! They work hard and scour the planet to find only the best products to bring to you!

Zenoobi & Eco-Vessel Review
I love the Zenoobi website. It is so easy to navigate and see each product. I also love that they are a member of "1% for the planet" and for each purchase made a tree is planted in partnership with www.AmericanForests.org.

The products that they carry are great high quality brands that my family love and would use every day. Such as the Eco Vessel Sippy I had the pleasure of reviewing.

The Eco Vessel Sippy is great! I love that it is bigger (10 oz) yet still has easy grip handles for little ones and a no leak spout. Little Brother has claimed this as his new sippy. I also love that it is insulated so I can put milk in and throw it in the diaper bag when we head out the door. The milk stays cold for hours! But the very best part is there are no chemicals! It is made with food grade stainless steel, no BPA, no phthalates. I reviewed the silver express color but it also comes in Hudson Blue and Ava Pink.

Here are a few of my other favorite items offered from Zenoobi!
You can get free shipping on orders over $50 and right now you can get $5 off your first order with the promo code FirstTime5! A lot of really fun gift ideas for all kids in your life!

Make sure you also check out Zenoobi on Facebook for all things fun, family and maybe even a giveaway too, as well as signing up for their newsletter for product and web site updates as well as sales and promotions!

WIN IT: Zenoobi is a really cool site with plenty of must have items! Enter for a chance to win a $25 gift card to their online store in the upcoming Out and About Giveaway Hop that will start November 10th!
Disclosure: I received this product for the purpose of review. I did not receive any compensation for this review. The opinions in my reviews are my own, and others’ opinions may vary. This post was written by me and not edited by anyone.

Chris Mann #Roads Album Review

Having two little ones, a job, my blog and life in general.  It doesn't leave much time for watching TV in our house. I've heard of the hit TV show "The Voice" and I've even seen a few minutes here and there. But I couldn't tell you who the contestants are, or even who the past winner's have been.

I was offered the chance to review the new upcoming album by Chris Mann, one of the finalists of last season's show. Knowing nothing about him or his music I wasn't sure what to expect, however after listening to just one song I knew I wanted to hear more!

Now after listening to the entire album, I'd have to say I'm a new Chris Mann fan!  A beautiful strong voice that's a mix of classically-trained tenor and contemporary pop. The music is his voice. Nothing over musical or generic. His strong vocals come through loud and clear.

I love solo piano music. Quite a few of his songs have beautiful piano background in them, so maybe that's what draws me to his music. I can honestly say I love each of the 11 songs on the album. Which as you know is rare.
Here are the songs on the album. A few of them are remakes of some great songs by popular artists. Think Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson and Damien Rice and one with a special guest appearance from Christina Aguilera.

1. Roads
2. I Need You Now
3. Cuore
4. The Blower's Daughter
5. My Way
6. Unless You Mean It
7. Always On My Mind
8. On A Night Like This
9. Ave Maria
10. Falling
11. Viva La Vida

They are all so good that it's hard for me to even pick a favorite. I'd have to say Roads, The Blower's Daughter and Falling would be my top three picks.

I can see this new album being a great pick for Christmas gifts this year! I think no matter what your favorite genre of music is, you will find this album easy to listen to and to love.

The new Chris Mann, Roads album makes its major debut on October 30, 2012! Order one up for your collection or get a head start on gifts this holiday season, I promise you won't be disappointed. You can easily purchase (or pre-order) the album through iTunes or Amazon.com now!

This is a review opportunity from One2One Network. I was provided with a copy of the album and I am eligible for a prize drawing. All opinions stated are my own and written by me.

It is hard to even know where to begin this post and even harder for me to write it. As most of us are parents to young children you all know how hard it can be to see our children sick or hurt. I can't even begin to imagine the feeling of finding out your child has the dreaded "C" word. Cancer.
No child should have to face cancer. They shouldn't even have to know what cancer means. They should be riding bikes, playing, going to school and just being kids!

Why am I writing this about cancer? Thankfully both of my boys are healthy. However a close family friend of mine hasn't been so lucky. Her little girl Jillie, just 2.5 years old was just diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. A fast moving, aggressive form of leukemia that if not treated, could be fatal in a few months.

Luckily after weeks of being sick, Jillie was diagnosed and quickly moved to an amazing children's hospital. She will now be living in the Ronald McDonald housing for the next 6 to 12 months as she undergoes many many treatments and blood transfusions.
Remember she is just 2.5 years old. How do you even begin to explain to her what is going on and why she is now living far away from home and facing months and months of treatments?

So far Jillie is being a rockstar and keeping a smile on her face! She actually feels good with new healthy blood running through her! She is a fighter and one tough little girl. If anyone can fight this it is Jillie and her family.

In my small way of feeling less helpless and helping out in any way I can, I've started Rally for Jillie on my blog! I'm seeking sponsors willing to donate two items. One to add to the giveaways and one to send to Jillie. My hope is that this will keep her spirits up, help keep her occupied, to just keep her being a kid through this ordeal.

If I could hug the sponsors that have stepped up to help, I would in a heartbeat!  Their kindness and generosity to help a sick little girl says more about these companies than any review I could ever post. So if you are reading this, please take a moment to show some love to these amazing companies. To thank them for their small act of kindness that can go a long way in the journey to heal and cure baby Jillie.

Carter's Watch the Wear Review

I recently just had my first experience with Carter's Watch the Wear kids clothing. Rather I should say I had my first experience with this clothing line with my boys. Chances are I wore clothes from this line growing up. And chances are, even if you don't recognize the name, you have too.

Why? Well because Carter's has been around over one hundred and fifty years! Yes that's right, wow! In 1859 Henry Wood Carter would establish the H.W. Carter Co. in Lebanon, New Hampshire. And that same year Abigail Carter invented the first ever Overalls for use on railroads.

Without telling you the entire story, the brand grew by leaps and bounds over the years and is rooted deep in American history and Americana. The people of Carter's Watch the Wear company strive to achieve something they can take pride in, and a symbol of quality in denim work wear. What was once designed for hard working men, is now made for everyday families.

Carter's Watch the Wear Review
You know if a company has been around over 150 years they must be doing something right. Although I was uncertain of what to expect for children's clothes, I was happily surprised when the outfits for the boys arrived!

I received for review the Blue Striped Hoodie and Pants set in 4T and Black Striped Hoodie and Pants set in 2T. The photos online don't do these outfits justice.

I was afraid the jeans were going to be the generic elastic waited jeans that are kind of puffy and don't ever really look or fit right. They were far from generic! These jeans look and feel the quality of any expensive name brand jeans. Snap top and zip fly. Nice detailed stitching. They also have the elastic button sizing on the inside waistband to easily adjust the fit. Which if you have a tall/skinny like Big Brother than you know this is a must have to keep the jeans up! I would say the jeans fit more like a slim sizing already though. Big Brother is 4 and on the tall side and the 4T fit excellent on him with a bit of length on the jeans. Little Brother is 20 months and average height and weight and the jeans were a snug fit on the waist and quite a bit long. However the 2T is a bit big yet in jeans for his age.

The Hoodie shirt is very nice as well. I would say it's only a hoodie in the sense that it has a decorative hood on it. When I think of hoodie, I think of a thick warm sweatshirt. This is a nice lightweight soft cotton shirt material. Nothing thick or particularly warm. And the hood like I said can be worn but does pull the shirt weird, so it is mostly for decoration. I love the layering of the sleeves and the colored band at the bottom. And the shirt also has a nice detailed stitching. The 4T shirt fit Big Brother excellent and the 2T on Little Brother did as well.

Nice comfortable, quality clothing for kids. And are you ready for the price? Just $12.99 for the set! Can you believe that! You can't even find a pair of jeans for that price!

You can get adorably cute clothing for any age group! Newborns up to 4T with some larger sizes coming soon! They also carry bibs, blankets and towels! Here are a few of my favorites!
Right now Carter's Watch the Wear is also having a photo contest! You can win up to $150 to their online store! And as I've told you their amazing prices, this could get you a whole lot of clothes for your kiddos! All you have to do is visit the Carter's Photo Contest page and log in with either Facebook or Twitter. Make sure to use the hashtag #Carters and #kidsclutterchaos to tag your photo to let them know I sent you! That's it! The contest runs through October 31st, 2012 so get going on your entries! Voting begins on November 1st and ends November 9th, 2012.

So make sure to follow Carter's Watch the Wear on Facebook. They will be posting about the contest, plus sales, new product and more!

WIN IT: Now as if cute, affordable and chances to win aren't enough! I will also be giving two of my lucky readers each a $25 gift card to Carter's online store! Entry to win will start October 25th in the Hoppin Halloween Giveaway Hop! So make sure to come back and enter!

Rileyroos Review

I recently had the opportunity to review a pair of the cutest shoes for Little Brother! I love kids shoes! It is probably a good thing I don't have any girls, because while little boys shoes are really cute, there are twice as many little girl shoes and they are twice as cute! I would have way way to many kids shoes if I had girls.

I had the opportunity to review the Taylor in Grasshopper Green from Rileyroos! These are seriously some of the cutest little shoes for boys!
About Rileyroos
Rileyroos was started after the birth of the founders daughter, Riley. They saw a need for shoes that were friendly to growing and developing little feet. They are inspired by a combination of European fashion trends and American spirit and casualness.

Rileyroos are designed to imitate barefoot walking while protecting little feet. They are lightweight, flexible and have good traction. The sole is designed to curl up around the child's toes to provide leverage as they begin to crawl.

Rileyroos Review
Did I mention how cute these shoes are! They are like little stylish sneakers! They are very well made with leather and bright green mesh on the top for breath ability. And a suede sole with rubber grippers on the bottom. No detail has been left out, from the chunky white stitching, to the elastic heel for a better fit and the cute little ribbon Velcro closure. They are super lightweight and the insides are just super soft comfortable leather.
I requested a size 18-24 months for Little Brother. This is the largest size the Rileyroos go up to. Little Brother is just now 20 months old. On the Rileyroos sizing chart it says the 18-24 months is comparable to a US/Can Shoe size of 6.5-7. Little Brother wears a size 6 shoe comfortably and these are a bit too tight on him. I think they may run about one size small. So just keep this in mind when you are ordering, you might want to order a size up, especially if you want some growing room.
I wish they made bigger sizes as these are so stylish, cute and so well made. I found Rileyroos just a size too late darn it! But I have no doubt they will keep your little ones on their toes and feet comfortable for new little walkers.

Here are a few of my other favorites from Rileyroos!

Make sure to keep up to date with Rileyroos on Facebook! I know they have new Fall/Winter styles coming out late November. I can't wait to see them! And just maybe, fingers crossed there will be bigger sizes too!
